The tone of each pickup in an electric guitar. How are you?

Currently choosing to buy a guitar Must rely on many factors And another factor that musicians or beginners play music. Choose a guitar from ''Pick Up''

Today we will get to know each type of Pick Up and how they differ. Let's take a look.

Single Coil Pickup

or single pickup It is a pickup used for Stratocaster style guitars. and Telecaster (Stratocaster & Telecaster)
Guitar pickups like this will provide the most detailed sound, capturing every grain and giving a clear sound. But sometimes the sound is too thin.

Many guitarists who play heavy rock and metal music rarely use guitars with pickups like this. Because the sound is loud and cannot compete with the bass or drums. (It's not too thin, not too thick.) Most of us only see pop, blues, and funk guitarists who like to use guitars with pickups like this. The disadvantage is that some people like it, but most can't accept the other. It is the jingling sound when the crackling effect is used on a guitar with a pickup. Single Coil like Fender & Squier, it will sound like electricity coming out of the amp. Which is so loud that it annoys the rice field or many people call it the sound of flies.

Pickup Humbucker (Humbucker)

or humbucking (But humbucking is actually the verb humbuck–ing, which means to make no hum or squeak sound.)
It's two Single Coil pickups joined together. But wrap the wire bottle on opposite sides and reverse the poles of the magnet. The result is no hum. G sound and makes a fat, thick sound with more bass than Single Coil pickups.

Of course, pickups like this are more suitable for playing heavy rock with a tight crackling sound. We see a Les Paul, SG style guitar from Gibson. Epiphone, PRS or Ibanez use these types of pickups.

Single Coil sized Humbucker pickup

Or popularly called "mini hum" or rails-double-blade pickups (Rails - Double Rails).
This is a humbucker pickup. In the body of a single coil The sound characteristics are similar to a humbucker pickup, which is not harsh, the sound is thick, and the bass is deeper than a single-coil pickup. But it's with a guitar strut. or Telecaster, no need to adjust a lot. Because if you change to a normal humbucker pickup The pickguard must be replaced. Then you have to see that Does our guitar have a hole for a humbucker? A “single coil humbucker pickup” is more convenient.

The pickup is a single-coil humbucker. Another popular type is the noiseless pickup. (Noiseless) or pickups that do not make noise. That chirping sound - the humming sound itself. This type of pickup is used on higher-end Fender guitars such as the American Deluxe, Professional Elite, or Mexican Deluxe. World-class guitarist Jeff Beck likes to use guitars with Noiseless pickups.

Mini Humbucker pickup (Mini Humbucker)

This one has the same properties as a humbucker. But smaller than the Fender Telecaster guitar, American Vintage Hotrod 52 model, with the front pickup being a humbucker. Use a mini humbucker pickup like this.

P90 or Soapbar pickups

The P90 pickup (P-nity) or Soapbar (soapbar or soap bar) is an electric guitar pickup.
Fitted in the first Gibson Les Paul Original.

The P90 pickup is a single coil pickup. Not a humbucker

But this one will give a deeper sound than a normal single coil. Gives a unique, vintage sound
But people don't like to change to use it. Because most guitars use either Single Coil or Humbucker pickups.

The size is not the same as the original. If anyone wants to change to use it, they have to cut the pickguard.
or drilling-filling the guitar body to be able to wear But it's very difficult.

Lipstick Pickups
