Give the performance of a lifetime with the unique ML body shape of this guitar. Designed by Dean Zelinski in 1977, it maximises sustain thanks to its large surface area, resulting in a fuller tone. The mahogany it has been crafted from then offers an abundance of both practical and tonal qualities. Whilst being comfortable to hold, it is also exceptionally sturdy and durable. These are compelling attributes for not only the body, but the neck too, which has also been constructed from mahogany. Play with any amount of aggression knowing the Dean ML 79 can handle it and thrive.

By emphasising the lower and mid-range frequencies, mahogany offers a wonderfully warm tone with brilliant grind and bite. It is perfect for annihilating amplification and building upon with electrifying overtones. The Grover tuners, versatile controls, and Tune-O-Matic bridge then allow for the ultimate creativity and expression.

Dynamic DMT pickups

The Dean ML 79 is loaded to the brim with features that will make the walls shake and the ground tremble. Equipped at the bridge and neck are DMT Design humbuckers; they produce a tone that is punchy and encompasses an immersive bottom end and sparkling highs. A striking neck

An enticing feature of this guitar, which is not just there to catch the eye, is the large, V-shaped headstock. It provides increased string angles and length to add even more sustain to your sound. The V-shaped neck profile then allows for fast, skilful playing by fitting more comfortably into your hand. Mounted onto such an innovatively designed neck is a smooth pau ferro fretboard which enhances definition and attack, a brilliant accompaniment to mahogany.
